“ Wow guys, a top 3 burger joint in Birmingham. Fresh, fresh, fresh! I ordered the queso burger to go and it was still warm when we got back to the office. Service on point because our order was on point. See ya again soon. ”
“ Got the queso blanco burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious!!! Will go back ”
“ Delicious cheeseburgers!!! Friendly staff. Cute atmosphere. Definitely would be eating there all the time, if we lived closer! ”
“ Used pickup service. Worked very well. App was easy to use. Food was ready on time and still warm. Food was very good. I had the fox trot, and it was excellent. My wife had the blueprint. She said it was good but she would have liked it to be more moist. Sweet potato fries were very good and a generous amount. A very good experience. ”
“ Whiskey Foxtrot Burger Shoppe is a great place to head towards if you are looking for a greT burger along with some French fries. Walking in, I thought that Whiskey Foxtrot Burger Shoppe had a great ambiance. Kind of a burger dive, but in my opinion, a burger is best enjoyed in some dive type vibe. I walked up to the counter and the guy behind it was okay, though I would say that he definitely did nor want to be there. Hey, we all get like that at times. Like I said, he wasn't rude or anything, it just seemed that he wanted to be anywhere but there. I guess I could be wrong, but probably not. Anyway, soon enough, another guy brought out my food and he was great. He suggested some sauces for my fries and brought me a ranch dressing and their signature sauce. Let me say, the French fries were perfect. Not only prepared perfectly, but seasoned perfectly. The burger (actually there are two burger patties on this) was also very good. The menu was pretty straightforward. Burgers, hot dogs, French fries and tater tots. I will definitely be back. ”
“ We came south to Birmingham for a birthday trip at the end of March for me to see the cherry blossom festival at the botanical gardens. That wound up being a total bust (wayyyy too crowded to even park anywhere close), but we were fortunate to stop for lunch here! I'd had this place bookmarked for a long time and I'm glad I got to try it out. There's a small patio out front, a few tables and chairs on the first level, and it looked like some more seating upstairs. It's an order at the counter type of joint and sides are ordered separately from the burgers themselves. You'd be hard-pressed to make it out for less than $15 a head if you're expecting a side with your sandwich, but that being said, everything is obviously very high quality, freshly made, and delicious. The decor is fun and evocative of a sort of divey atmosphere, although the space itself is perfectly tidy. Honestly, the service is probably the one major thing that kept this from being a 5-star. The two ladies working the register were very disinterested in being friendly or helpful. The menu written on the wall is a little hard to read, and despite my parents obviously struggling to see it, we had to figure out for ourselves that there were paper menus on the counter by the register. No have a nice days, thank yous, or what would you likes, either, just a dutiful if sour rendering of our orders into the register and a wordless exchange of credit cards. They didn't say anything outright ugly and they did the job they're paid to do, but a little pleasantness really does go a long way. On the bright side, the kitchen was clearly working efficiently because our freshly cooked food was out in a matter of minutes. On to the food -- it rocked! I thought two patties would be too much for me, and I was suuuuper full at the end, but they were smashed nicely and therefore it wasn't an immense challenge to eat them. I had the queso blanco burger and it was delicious. Gooey queso, crisp jalapeños, creamy aioli, and savory, umami beef that surprisingly didn't melt the soft, lightly toasted buns into a soggy mess. My only *minor* wish was for a slightly spicier entree -- it was barely spicy at all, and I'd have been happier with a little more kick. That being said, easy 4.5/5 meal and I would be more than happy to devour it again. My sweet potato waffle fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, a nice balance of sweet and salty, and the serving was generous. Can't remember which burger my husband got but he loved it. WF's take on regular fries is also delicious and also comes with a generous portion. I thiiiiiink my parents split a patty melt and fries. Whatever the case, all four of us were beyond happy with our food. All in all, fantastic tasting burger joint in a comfortable environment with fairly easy parking, convenient to lots of fun stuff to see and do in Birmingham. If you're looking for a good burger stop in town, look no further! I would happily come back. ”
“ This was our first time visiting. We wanted an easy casual dinner and that's just what this place is. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Simple menu of burgers and hot dogs, a few sandwiches. My burger was good, nothing special. Shredded ice berg lettuce would have been nicer if it had been mixed greens but it was ok. However the sweet potato fries were out of this world delicious! Huge serving too! I was so full and just kept eating them because they were so good! Probably won't return just because we aren't local and we like to try other things but if we were local I would be back just for the fries! ”
